EDITORIAL REVIEW: “Gives the reader great insight on the mind of women, as well as the mystery we all call Boracay. I got the feeling that the island itself was a major character in the book. The writer said she intended this novel to portray her love affair with Boracay. It worked.” — Bryan Roy Padilla, bibliophile, frequent traveler, and Opinion Editor of The Freeman

Ayin Quijano is a Filipino writer of contemporary women’s fiction, romance, and fantasy novels. At one point in her late 20s, she lived and worked in the Philippines’ most iconic beach destination, Boracay Island, where she spent countless sunset walks, drank too many margaritas, and ate too much Fruits in Ice Cream.

An island girl at heart, she now lives somewhere along the northwest coast of Cebu, and when she’s not writing, thinking about complicating her fictional characters’ lives, or mastering the art of indie publishing, you’ll likely find her by the sea — reading or binge-watching other people’s stories, catching sunsets, or daydreaming under the umbrella of Ayinisms.
